No Excuses! (But here are a bunch.)

April 6, 2018

For the last few years, I've spent January, February, and March working on my comic in order to have a finished issue ready for sale in time for Free Comic Book Day. This year, things have gone a little differently...

About a year ago, just after I finished POPT #2, I had the "brilliant" idea that we should spend the Spring getting our house ready to sell and we could put it on the market in the summer and be in a new house before Halloween 2017. I have since called it the "worst-best idea I've ever had." We wound up moving ...in February 2018. Our new house is awesome and it was totally worth the wait and hassle we went through to get here... but what a hassle! The delay in selling and moving forced me to postpone work on POPT #3.

Now, we're finally in our new house and I'm ready to get to work in earnest on POPT #3! In addition to our recent move, my wife and I are expecting our second child (another girl!) in July. SO... my plan is to spend the next few months creating issue #3 in order to have it finished before the baby arrives AND have it available for sale in August!

Now that I'm back in the swing of things, look out for more updates including a first look at the cover for POPT #3!
